This buttery-soft and breezy sari has been inspired by the constant ebb and flow of waves. The patterns were clamp-dyed on lightweight kota doria fabric in the rich tones of our homegrown natural indigo. Leher is a playful addition fo rany wardrobe.
from the dyer’s journal
Dyeing with natural colours involves letting nature take its course. The shades are a product of the dye, water’s composition, dyebath’s pH, mordants, type of fabric and weather conditions. This means no two fabrics will have the exact same colours.
That’s why we urge you to cherish this piece – coloured using pieces from this Earth and all the tiny imperfections it holds.
